Your end came So soon Just feels too soon I don't know what to think Or what to do Auntie, I grieve more for your life Than I do your death To be perfectly honest I know that you knew The pain that extended through your own and I know you drowned it Or at least attempted to I will love your children I won't leave them alone Because I can't Family is supposed to stick together, right? I know you'd say so I love you I hurt for your end I hurt for every day that your life brought you the fruit of wrong choices - and I admire your uncanny way of saying wrong is always wrong, even if it was you doing it. You are my aunt And I love you And I will always love you And I will love those who you so dearly love You threw us for a loop lady And thats not always such a bad thing You beautiful lady Thank you for letting us see beyond your crust - letting us see who you really were |

Dear poet... a most wrenching write... I will keep the family in my prayers... because this is too real not to be "just" poetry |

No greater tribute than the raw emotion of words strung together in prose... Let my words fall first upon deaf ears before a closed mind... |

Copperbell, I am so sorry for your loss. This was such a tender tribute. ![]() |
