There was a time words came so easy I seemed to have so much to say But the well has since dried up Words have eluded me this day My mood is grey and sombre I compliment the darkened sky There is no wind beneath my wings And I am unable to fly I feel I've been abandoned Stranded on a desert isle Awash with waves of uncertainty I have found no reason to smile I feel like a once prized fighter Who has no more strength to fight I'm like a ship lost at sea Searching for a guiding light I am covered by a blanket As I grapple with my sorrow But I am able to look forward And hope the tide might turn tomorrow * * * "Love is the lifeline I cling to when grief threatens to pull me down into eternal darkness" I am in motion |

Well these words seemed to have flowed effortlessly, my friend, so I think what ever "loss" you feel you've had, it's all uphill now...beautiful picture too. jwesley |

How many, I wonder, grasp these very words, this very moment... a heartfelt, soul-sounding, sensitive poem, my friend.. you do touch us all. |

Many of us hear and understand these very depths. The courageous heart will rise the turn of tides. Hugs, TD |

These words are powerful and certainly don't seem too "eluded" or "dried up!" You're still strong, and you'll make it. Just hang on... and keep writing. Always, Alyssa He was a man of sorrows |

Dear Sue: I'm sorry you are feeling depressed. I know we all have these feelings sometimes and fortunately, they do pass. Hoping for a hppier tomorrow! Love Betty Lou Betty Lou Hebert |
