II is below. please try chanting or singing (to whatever tune you fancy) them out loud. I Olden times have gone away, Elder light begins to fade, sing I will... sing I will... Before forever being laid... Down to rest far I go, Rain as each passing day, dance I will... dance I will... While the waters yet play... Paling sun withers to seas, Drown your sorrows high one, Let her gentle light cease, Falling on my sleeping face. -------------------- II Hear the call of the trumpets clear blow wind blow down the rolling hills, raise their voices high they will near the wall of my growing fear. In your travels your story unravels, Journeyed long and vast seas seen, Petty pace of many a lost face Inspiring songs of waning sheen. Flee the darkness closing round bound away like a hare pursued, bloody sky with power imbued heralds terror on soiled grounds. In your travels your story unravels, Journeyed long and vast seas seen, Petty pace of many a lost face Inspiring songs of waning sheen. Bottles broken jagged on walls, return now to join your choir, voices sound from deepening mire rent the fabric of inky shawl. In your travels your story unraveled, Journeyed long and vast seas seen, Petty pace of many a lost face Inspired songs of waning sheen. Simple things are now your choice, settle down to lasting peace, watching harvests' steady increase and in decay of age rejoice. -majnu |
