where the wild flowers grow

0 posted 2004-05-17 04:39 AM

I will not grieve
for a lost lullaby,
or a hopeless caress..

you have fed upon me,
and still want more..
Am I not but bones?

My soul
now undressed,
I now lay side by side
to die
with tortured
butterflies..

Pinned and useless.

You
were to be my savior,
but you
have lied..
pricked my stars
with needles.

I do not need you tonight,
you take pleasure in shattering my bones..

so achingly beautiful....as usual, you truly feel like a poet

joy has its own justice. and dreams are languid and lawless. and everything bows to beauty, when it's fierce and when it's flawless...

sometimes, I don't know how to respond to your words...

I just want you to know I always read you...

I hate to say it but I loved the comparision to butterflies, awesome Megan, just loved this one.  I too read you all the time but sometimes don't leave a thumbprint so will thank you now for your talent.

Today I'm only moving clouds, tomorrow I'll try mountains.

Kaoru,
This was a painful read
from tortured butterflies to
pricked stars
very emotional ending with
shattered bones.

The things that make us feel whole almost make us feel too full. like we're being used.

you amaze me.

You have such an excellent way with words Meg. Your imagery makes one almost feel what your heart must be feeling. Awesome. Chris

You write of everything and anything so dang well...

I literally brace myself when clickin' on your titles...I just know I am about to get socked in the gut..
