Double Musings springtime’s warm has pulled my cat between blind and pane where wind does wane and sun can glow and she can stow a furnace-full of sweet, sweet lull to save for later’s nap ~~~~~~~~~ the “T” of tired lay where sun and shadow’d play to span from garden cart that gave the lawn a start and choked the weeds at heart as if they had any- more likely they merely own a brazen braun that cracks the stone that tries to block each tiny stalk which plans the alien invasion ©May 16, 2004 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, I'll seek the lighthouse evermore. |
