Rendevouz For just a moment late last night our star seemed to ease its trembling. I lay here basking in its light, dreaming you close with a touch, a sigh; giving over all I know of passion and of sweet desire to the memory of times we lay kindling love's unquenchable fire. Years of unspent tenderness welled up from within, engulfing me in waves of pleasure, full tides of warmth until, trembling myself, at will, I looked up to see our faithful star joyfully, peacefully still. |
