A Poetic Tear

My butterfly has lost her aim
Drunk on nectar from my frame
Whipped her lips in flutter dips
And skips upon the wind in quips.

Erratic in erotic bane
A dance macabre that seems insane
And thought my nectar brews in true
The sweet of it has lost its coup

So now my petals close to night
Those nettles of the day and flight
And I am less in changing chime
The rhythm of my given time

Alas alack there is no knack
There is no path that leads us back
It moves in one directions course
From one and only timeless source

So when the silver shines the moon
Weave the strands a strong cocoon.
