Monday is a life ago or so it seems when so many lives pass by in the interim not like a merry-go-round with golden rings but as a machine gun spitting out fragments of humanity a leg here an arm there each one kicking scratching clawing to reach the end of a marbled hallway a hall that appears to be a black and white checkerboard when in reality each square is gray… why is gray such an ugly color and why are Mondays so long ago? |

It never is easy... and sometimes a Monday seems to last all month long. The setting of a chess board comes to mind as well... and the thought of pawns... easily disposable? Sometimes, it seems that way... I'm into '05 already with case management...as you can imagine; don't even think for a minute that I wish away my days. It's a hard job, Sir. Thank you for all you do. |

Your style leaves so open the wind across deep water. Time has it's own agenda, and we often find ourselves before and after it's hand... Thought provoking and very well done. TD |

Wow, I really liked this poem. It's really thought provoking and it challenged me, made me think. You're my kind of writer. |
