Your Own Muse Now, she and I have looked inside and there you in slumber, rest, dreams ride, sleeping in peace, mind in repose, but we stand by, watchful, and close in quiet chat and singing chant, your very own muse, and I singing softly, oh, so soft, this little bit of lullaby, for you had cried for her to come though all night, she was there, holding onto your precious thoughts with the most gentle hands in care. You searched for your most solemn muse, would not be swayed by our amuse, “neither droll nor witty will I write” thus stayed your pen throughout the night… Now, Serious was no where to be found though you looked high, low, and all around but your own sweet muse, your tender tones couldn’t find a place on paper’s home but still in inky blackness’ stream the tender tones swell in dream as shadows show you the heart of home for tomorrow’s write, a tender tome. .......for Maree |

Wonderful gift for Maree, Karilea.. And how beautifully she does write. Our muses do need a bit of a vacation from time to time.. but they never ever leave us! ~Hugs to you, Maree and our muses~ To have lived the dream of a love so true... |

but still in inky blackness’ stream the tender tones swell in dream There is nothing quite so special as the gift of words. What a lovely poem, to and from a couple of fine ladies. |

Karilea, such a beautiful and precious gift. Thank you dear friend for standing close and watchful and for bringing me smiles this sunday morning. Love you Mxx Beauty of the world which is soon to perish has two edges, one of laughter and one of anguish, cutting the heart asunder. |

There is a plain(and I don't mean Kansas) on which some people write and you dwell there. Your word choice to convey your thought is always so sound. KJ Through rubble and trouble and dark of night |

Sometimes when we write for others we find out more about ourselves. Thank you all for reading, for enjoying. |
