does the record of my existence continually skip a beat, jump a line? do I need to “modern it up” a bit c.d. it, dvd it? how might I keep the hiccoughs from forming, from obliterating the rhyme, the scheme, the plot of my destiny? what translucent arc paints my backdrop, trims my blessings, coats my promises with serenity? what beauty brings the “Monet” style of vision to the reality of my world? is there not some form of effervescence in the blurring? must clarity erase the softness with its hard edges? ©April 17, 2004 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

Thank you, Both! And Inclan...I must copy your replies and paste them with the copy of my poem in my folder. Perfect responses, surely! Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |
