A Vacationer’s Dream Seems easy playing the lead on your stage. Or from your box seat where you view the show. Life is a talent in all its own, don’t you know its own passion for living no matter how frivolous it might seem. The stage is not empty, not for a second in eternity. But, we have our way of detaining, in hopes of diluting the fraternity. The stage too has a life of all its own, a life understood, a dwelling place for everyone. We enter through the alley’s stage door, or in at the front where the tickets are stored… We all get our turn to act, and we all have a star at our feet. Yet to some, the actors can become so obsessive or obsolete. Seems easy playing the lead on your own stage: But life is not always in dreams, and not always one way. We are what we are, and may never be what we might, to others, seem. Or what some playwrights might deem… Acting, that is what we all do best, watching, all at the end of the spotting light beam. All pay the price of a ticket to get in. It’s real, not a game, or a vacationer’s dream… |

Yeah, but sometimes I'm not even center stage in my own life. Nice metaphors in this one. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |
