I can only think
today
must be circled subconscious
in some extraordinary way

as every mother's day I pay
for every time
she wasn't there
you strike a me too willingly
and now she sends
novena greet
and I am just a whore again
drippping
my mascara tears
licking
at the black in beg

running rivulets of me
wishing I could say the same...

"Take the tens and cover green"

I think you need a big hug. Your poetry is tremendously powerful even when your mascara is dripping. Not the easiest day for many. I am not big on holidays.
