Mom and Dad had smothered me
With kisses from the hour three
Their lips were warm and fill of bliss,
Indeed, these were granted “my first kiss”.

But “MY” first kiss came with such woo,
With blondish hair! This, my undo…
So silky, shiny, gads, my bliss
From love’s appeal was my first kiss

This bravery, facing danger,
This love kept me from all strangers;
This love was, granted, my implore
As we rolled upon our great floor…

And here, here, let the journal log
This greatest love, was my first dog…



She lives on, for in brown eyes I see
