Step Softly Step softly in the mist of morn Where most your fantasies are born Tip toe through the waking green Become as one with the scene See the world through dew drop curl Let your mind and faith unfurl Fly the magic carpets leap Guide it through a dreamer’s sweep Touch the essence of the pale Set the sheets and up the sail Let yourself into the room Of the phantom of your bloom Be the spirit of the dawn Washed with dew of early morn And when the ghost of that is done Walk you proud into the sun Each day for you will be a coup Each day will be a world of new. |
