I am a poet writing the truths of life I am a sister scared for your future I am a teacher watching you grow I am a realist looking at the horrors in the world I am a friend who is worried about you I am a daughter who cares for you I am a rape victim who feels others pain I am a survivor who is standing strong I know who I am and what I want. I want a normal life, a life with out always fearing for my life, with out fearing the darkness. I want to be able to trust, to love, to know its ok. I want to write, I want to sing, I want to fly.
