A rose, alas, is but a flower No hidden charms nor mystic power To kiss one lightly on the brow As whisper odes of love’s avow. Aye, but a flower and nothing more, No beauteous songs of Terpsichore From forth red petals satin smooth, To calm one’s soul in velvet soothe. Then why I ask must I each night, Seek out red rose in Luna’s light, To ache the sweetness of her scent, Rare splendid bloom from heavens sent? I seek thee rose for to thy splendor, I cede my heart, in love’s surrender. /pip/Forum31/HTML/002588.html /pip/Forum47/HTML/002773.html |

Certainly not the reddest rose though lovely scent, t'would suppose that you might grace her bower, fair... and place it gently, in her hair... |

Very nice...so much meaning these flowers can convey when given to a loved one...almost silly, but they do the trick don't they? |
