To the Women of Pip – A Valentine Sonnet A man who’s been around the course of life Soon learns to tell true joy from toil and strife. And friend, I want to tell you if I may About Pip women. Let me have my say. I’ve rarely met a gal who boosts a man As Sunshine, “E” and always thoughtful Nan. Their comments offer endless praise and cheer; In fact, you’ll always find that message here. So women Pipsters, you’re the best I’ll find; You’re like gold nuggets that I’ve seldom mined. I simply do not know you all by name But hope you all come forward to your fame. For you, I’ve searched to find a thoughtful line But simply say A Happy Valentine. |
