Betwixt the layered wisps of heaven’s strands The silent stillness of transient veneer Echoes lines of smoke-filled bands As whispered breaths of winds appear To wash the mindless clutter there Distilling dust from absent air The knight of sons so long ago When dawn of dusk seemed far aloft The ill-timed fate of vertigo Inclined itself to answers soft Forlorn, and yet unspent— Those lines are ripped and rent In twain, the sacred scars of sear-ed thought Are borne by those unborn of night As catcher’s dreams are yet unsought And eyes are filled with soil-ed light Bereft of soul’s desire or fancied dreams Nothing now, as then, is as it seems Life appears and then recedes in schemes Where nothing now is as it seems. |

Mmmm... I enjoyed the kind of fantasy feel to it... "The knight of sons so long ago When dawn of dusk seemed far aloft..." Of course, I am not sure thats what you were going for. Anyways, I blather on. Excellent write, and much enjoyed. One in a sea of millions has the power to change the world... |

Steaven~ This was a gentle read ... a dip of your quill in magic ink~ 'In twain, the sacred scars of sear-ed thought Are borne by those unborn of night As catcher’s dreams are yet unsought And eyes are filled with soil-ed light Bereft of soul’s desire or fancied dreams Nothing now, as then, is as it seems' See it ? See it ? Magic~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*When the heart grieves over what it has lost, |
