I’m not invisible, then why do you look right through me? I am standing right in front of you but our eyes never meet. I’m not muted, then why do you not hear my voice? I am calling out to you but you never respond. I'm not suited in armor, then why do you bruise me with your thoughts? I am waiting for your kind words, but yours are indifferent.
