WMDs When he spun a nation and his friends spun a world. He took falsehood and turned it into truth, Then took anxiety and soothed with hyperbole. But to those that would not be seduced by hollowness and shadow He spat venom and vitriol. While few were caught in this web of deceit and allies were rare, Still, there is always a coalition of willingness; For Revenge would have its way and the lie would be lived. Many were the voices of caution and dissent; But vigilantes, immersed in the unholy din of their rhetoric, Caught in the web of their spinning, never hear the plea of Wisdom. Those three delivered death and destruction for “Their Kingdom Come!” Yet stuck fast in this self-made quagmire With a death delivered shouting “All is well”; They now sit in dawning awareness … Revenge may be sweet but its aftertaste is bitter. Deep in the wreckage of their lies they seek now to shift the blame While crying to all that “ends (even if unprincipled) justify means.” But with one evil dispelled another is invoked; Hubris was always at the heart! Thus spent lives, clamouring from hearts at home, Sacrificed at the altar of “Their Kingdom Come”, Knowing futile truth (as only the dead can and the living must discover), Call for Principle again to be the hallmark by which we live.  (big angel hugs) God Bless You, dearest friend, thank you, thank you so much for posting this, I have much respect for those like you who have the courage to speak convictions aloud, as we all have been deceived and people are still seeing the distorted smoke and mirror reality this corrupt Administration has put before us! (sad sigh) They are all nothing but bloodthirsty pirates in the Administration, they alone are dangerous, God Bless You, I pray a change can be made for the better, we all love you so much! Good one...it sad how so many paranoid,misguided people especially here in the U.S. swallow the propaganda fed us by the big money sacks of crap that arn't really leaders but play them on tv. Live like it's your last day... |
