Slumber it seems to a child: Is a continuation Of staying awake, When dark-time brings out Night-beat drummers, And the day-band of the sun Gives up conduction. * Rest insists of run-worn legs: The Childs body changes, As all the world does When viewed from horizontal. Cracks in the wall of reality Are caulked with mysticals, To seal out the light; In a different kind of world Of ever changing Transcendentals. * Awake or in dreams, The young wizards mind Is absent of difference... Aloft on a plane, With no adult seams; Fences or boundaries * Their eye-slits beg sleep tokens: Closed, yet still slots That osmotic, sleep ghosts Slip, like soft coins dropped In nickelodeons... A strange animation begins, They enter netherword Falling (holding) hands With Alice, Taking in the opiate- Smoke of sleep Puffed out, by a toad-stooled cat; Who knows they don't care, Where they're going. * Children accept as real, All who dwell there it seems In dream-web snares Of fairy queens and mad hares. But midlife creeps And swells-shut, adult minds Experience makes us blind; Sad it is that we deny, The reality of dreams. |

(big angel hugs) Oh Ford, this is so very sad but true, sweet friend, I would be heartbroken if I ever lost my sense of youth and wonder and dreaming, sweet friend, I believe they are important and must always be held dear! (sigh) I send angel hugs to the children in encouraging them to hold them dear, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ford, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "You'll find something that's enough to keep you |

Beautiful, melancholic write. Every child has the right to dream, to follow it, to realize it. Love, Margherita |
