The snow holds no cold The darkness no longer haunting The fire so much less a temptation I bath in the fall of water I wash with words of your heart Seeing through the light of a happier life Wrapping my body in a cloak of your protection I leave the water knowing you are with me and have cleansed me As snow begins to fall I raise my face to greet the cycle of life as it melts on my cheek Knowing if winter can feel this good spring just may make me weep with the joy and gratitude of knowing you _______________________________________ ~Special thanks to that heap of metal, the USS Canopus, and my orders to it, another lifetime ago. Because that is where fate started it's journey.~ |

at first I thought this would be sad but the ending was perfect! I thought to myself that you could not be talking about Florida...but then I remembered the two times we had snow, though it wasn't really enough to even have a good snowball fight *grin* |

and it certainly was a heap of metal...and depending upon where it was heaped....one could be inspired to either scream or jump for joy.... I remember her well.... Thanx Susan, a very good write you have here. |

Thank you everyone! All of you are too nice to me! "sit on top of the world and tell me how you feel...'cause what you feel is what I feel for you.." |
