 IN THE MOOD (A Candy Heart Poem) By: Noah Eaton 2/15/02 Sweetheart, I'm in the mood Just you, me, and the music Come, this special night is custom-made for two Your summer song swoops in like a blitzkrieg Your sunny smile, stained in pomegranate And when you bellow from the oceans of your lungs, oh, the eurythmy I become far-sighted, to your light of day I'm blinded And I'm faithfully yours, you the gracious ballerina, me your mezzazine  In your language everything sounds provencal I always wake up and smell more than just coffee Your water lotus perfume having my instincts dancing in circles I can't understand your vernacular yet every word you speak sounds so lovely Sweetheart, I'm in the mood Let us love like there's no tomorrow You are God's B-side, you are soul food You are my savannah sparrow...
