* * * For those that don't know me, I am new here on this site. I wrote this poem for all of those that feel judged rudely in any way. And I was one of them in a way. * * * I look around and see many faces, Brought to Earth to start many races. I look around and see a color, That's under the skies and blends within the waters. I look around and hear a word, That's said in many ways. That chirps about within this house, Just so it'd be heard. I look around and see many cultures, That's good as is and shouldn't be vultured. I look around and see for eyes, That's good as one and doesn't lie. I look around and see different cloths, Worn to state the owners mode. I look around and see braces, That may see bad but will seem good. And at least it's not a racist. I look around and see somebody, That must not be rudely judged just for a hobby. I look around and hear a voice, One is cluttered and one is perfect, Just so you know, They are both made moist. I look around and see people like you and me, With hidden talents and gifts so special. We are here as one, And we are here united. Just look around. (smiles) Awwwwwwwwww, this is such a beautifully uplifting debut, sweet friend, I too believe every single person is special as we are all God's children and being a huge fan of Mr. Rogers believe that we are everyone's neighbor and everyone is our friend, God Bless You, I love it! Welcome to Passions, sweet friend, may you be inspired by all of us here as we will all be inspired by your lovely words! I can't wait to read more of your wonderful words, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "You'll find something that's enough to keep you |

Hi Chinadude89 and welcome to Passions. Last Saturday night, my husband and I went to see the play To Kill A Mockingbird. It was very good. Your poem resembled some of the same feelings I got during the viewing. If everyone just practiced the golden rule, our world would be so much happier. I enjoyed reading you. McLean |

thank u every1! T_T right when i wrote dis poem, i thot it was horrible! then my friend snatched my notebook thinking it was a diary(i dink) ! then when i retrieved it, she was complaining how jealous she was about how well i write! so i gave another shot at my writing skills, that's when "Dream"(based on a true story) came in. please read it if u haven't! but for some reason it dissappeared from this forum....
