![]() Withal enough of deep frostbitten woe. Embanked like hoary fortress to dismay Emerging marmot's peek from snowy quay, From slumber's wrest by sleightly vernal show. As winds of February gust and blow, Now's just the time to will the sun away; For Phil the Punxsatawney skies all gray, To expiate the wanton frigid snow. Once bundled from hibernal sleep aground, The groundhog hesitantly peers around. His languid eyes sole harbinger of spring, Deem whether six ensuing weeks shall bring The rest of winter's icy throes repleteā¦ Unless his frightful shadow spawns retreat!! ![]() |

Nan - now Nan, I don't want to see any more winter, so please explain to Phil to go and hide in the ground and not to come out until spring, which I hope is tomorrow my dear... hehehe BC |
