In portent of the coming day, skies dawn, diffused, the night surrenders to their light, as if from some vast distance, sounds a yawn, last vestage of sleeps grasp which held you tight. Arise to greet the early morning hours, to smell of fresh brewed coffee in the air, before the madness of your life devours the day, and with it all reason to care. It's half-time between two opposing worlds, through both, wherein lie endless avenues, a future written, indescript, now swirls, around whichever one you'd sleep through, choose, to listen to the voices in your head or live your life somnambulate instead. Somnambulating seems to be my particular talent! (I hurt my arm hoisting my dictionary down from the shelf! ) Great poem, Dr.Moose! I love your swirling thoughts! |

Mclean, Shaking my head at your sense of humor with big grin, lets see, that would be SHYSHWBG in computer speak (well, maybe not). Anyway, thanks. Doc Tim, Thank you. A question. Have you ever written anything you thought was perhaps at the top of your form, only to re-visit it later and say "what the heck was I thinking?", or conversely, written something atrocious and then gone back to find out it wasn't all that bad? Assessing worth to something as transient as thoughts is, at best, a risky business being that our perceptions are in a constant state of flux. But, enough of my rambling. Thanks again. Doc Denise, I honestly swear that word just popped into my head( I will also admit to the sore arm for checking the spelling). Thanks, my friend. Doc steavenr, Thanks muchly, glad you enjoyed. Doc Martie, Thanks. I miss the kaleidoscope/calliope of your poems. I simply must get out more. Doc Noah, Always a pleasure to hear from you, thanks. Doc passing shadows, Thank you, you've become a rather familiar voice, and, one I'm always glad to hear from. Doc |
