In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2004-04-14 10:37 AM

Gabriel

          In your shadows waiting-

Raven eyes- - ghostly desires
silence lost to
pain and longing

Whispers of chill-
     the night air    cold
speak to him
looking down upon his mind

Humbled   by fear--
a calling    in tremendous
echo    love knows,   no   fear
     you slipped  your tongue--
closed his eyes, softly touched his tears

bury the sage,   its time to go
  inside

        who was too argue?
weary and   tired

Alone    in mystery’s,  darkness
a feeling of comfort  --

Footprints-- your journals long,
       spill  your  tears
for all who dare to read

     { through the darkness}

      in   distant fires
you will hear small voices,

He is crying tonight, his castle
burning    ‘does it move you’?    -‘yes’-
‘do you    love them’?    -‘yes’-

you are needed
give of faith
holy in thou name

trembled before his,
           wings    mighty
your heart longing

You  are needed

he is crying in fear
     he is lost and alone
‘does that move you’?  -‘yes’-
‘do you   love them’?    -‘yes’-

fall to your  knees

      weep

your soul forgiving
believe in faith

rest your palms
of wisdom upon his eyes
you will heal

you are needed       here

go    live

~~**~~
The sound of silence calls,
I hear your voice and suddenly
I'm falling, lost in a dream
The echo of our souls meet
~~**~~

Lauren, I read the challenge last night, and this is in my opinion, perfect.

those lines tugged at me mothy heartstrings.
beautiful offering to the challenge Lauren-girlie.

Home is a feeling I buried in you ...
I'm alright, I'm alright ... It only hurts when I breathe ...
