I wake alone, not bound by fears
Go to the mirror, scan for tears
They are not there - neither is hope
I'm not alive; I simply cope.

My friends are happy; I don’t care
There's nothing in me I can share
So many things I need to do
My only focus - getting through

My heart is emptied of its pain
But nothing filled it up again
Tiny blue pills make my world nice
But *I* am missing - that's the price.

I don't sit contemplating death
But there's no joy in taking breath
Filling lungs without resistance
Is not life, it's just existence.

So strong, sensitive, honest....I find so much strength in your willingness to be expressively vulnerable....Thank you....~P

My Dear Belle of the South, I am giving you a magic lace handkerchief that I tatted myself from fairy silk. It is to soak up your tears of sadness and turn them into tears of joy... Magic Wand

I am so moved by your apparent state of despair that I am flying down south and wrapping you in my loving wings. ~ and then we are going to talk girlfriend! ~ over a fresh brew of angel dew! I'm a comin', my pet! Hang onto to that proverbial knot! Help is on the way! ~ but if I get lost, which is a distinct possibility because of my recent discombobulatory experience, send me an email!

Loving, comforting hugs,
EA

Ruth? (ykikykik)

"When your own emptiness is all that's getting through
There comes a point when you're not sure why you're still talking
I passed that point long ago ...

Now I'm sitting here wondering what to say
(That you might recognize)
Afraid that all these words might scare you away
(And break through the disguise)
No one ever talks about their feelings anyway
Without dressing them in dreams and laughter
I guess it's just too painful otherwise

Now you go and pack your sorrow
Trash man comes tomorrow ...
Leave it at the curb and we'll just roll away."

I do hope this changes for you...it sounds so empty I can't help hoping you'll be filled, and soon.
