Close the shutter pull the drape walk past myself into the late drain of day for I believe the dark places of the night wake up change the scene then shift-shape and relieve I am too hard for the candy you describe born buttered and hot by will survive the stroke it’s midnight in the deep pool and the sky is reflective there as am I dancing dreamed and daffy in the chill only wanting warm socks and a place still and closed in my spring and folly to lay down How old is the weaving from that star a jungle tattered by a leap of faith laps at my skin and laughs incredulous with the silence of distance then judges me with kind eyes It is in this solitude where I hear the whispers of a tangible knowing light and believe |

These images you paint bring life to the emotions conveyed. Always love the breaths that glow between the lines. TD |

This is Superb Martie...Definitely one of your best. I love it and I'm keeping it... Maree Happy Easter! Beauty of the world which is soon to perish has two edges, one of laughter and one of anguish, cutting the heart asunder. |

"How old is the weaving from that star" Ahhh...the Allfather tied the skein a'long ago; wrap yourself inside it or rage against it; it all gives character to the tapestry. Stirring thoughts you have written. I'm glad I survived the ride home to read them. *smile* |

always interesting to ponder the things that people associate with believing - thanks for letting us look in on your things - I need not believe to enjoy and learn from your poetry - Paul |

I get most of my answers in the still of the night, and too quite often see the light in all that darkness. Nicely done Martie. |
