looking out over the horizons
of tomorrow,
a certain kind of peace
fills my soul~

The tick tock of time
stands still
as I am held in your embrace,
together we stand
upon the shores of the future~

Each drop of golden sunlight
seems that much brighter,
every sip
from the cup of life
tastes vintage~

We dance
in sunsets glow,
placing our dreams
in the hands
of destiny~

Like an angel
sent from heaven
you warm a spirit
that had seemingly had
forgotten how to fly~

Oceans of blue
can not compare
to the depths
of your eyes
when you gaze
into my heart~

Each touch
a cherished moment
that can not slip away
with the passing of time~

To simply hear
you whisper my name~
to be held in your love~

Each moment spent with you
leaves me
