He looked at her, an old woman of hexes and potions Hidden away on a mountainside along a narrow trail, Selling cures and mixtures to stir the deep emotions Made by one of tangled hair and skin much too pale, Her that sleeps on dirty mats in a drafty shack “How can I be sure” he says “it will not fail” “If it does not,” she coos “ just bring it back, but be warned of who quaffs lingering devotion will never change and never fade or lack She will cling always with a loving never lost” And then she shouted to he retreating back “the antidote is four times the cost” Gloom |
