All alive! Announcing dreams about the bows their clatter Night calls, a foreign tongue of chirp and flatter Into dimming day these die hards chatter Intuitive the sundown here in falling hood Smoothing voice among the rainbow wood Night calls, to stroke the trees but could and should And dim becomes her eveningwear on settle Deep the greens of moss in damp sheen petal Moist upon the fragrant whispers of spring nettle Then deeper into silence falls the sky To wave his mighty hand in lullaby And all the earth succumbs to closing eye Night calls, embracing as he falls Upon the deep green peace her cease enthralls And forest drifts, clothed in few cares and coveralls Copyright Kkh 4/10/04 |
