"Heard about the goblin that kidnaps lazy wives?
Your comportment stabs me like a bunch of knives
I am a farmer of the field bound to bring food home
to sooner fly from the hive like a defeated drone".

"I find you comfortably inclined with sweat on my brow
I'll invite this creature and then you'll learn how;
to keep hearth and home while I work the fields
a small token to appreciate what the farm yields".

The wife never listened, a shroud passed her view
"Open your door so I can nab you little shrew";
grab her it did with the might of an extended arm
as predicted by the husband to teach her some harm.

He carried her aloft to a neighbouring cascade
thought his stolen package would contain its rage;
she boldly defended herself from imminent doom
as if she held the reins on a flagship broom

The demon slipped and fell to his nemesis below
to the bottom of the falls where a river did flow;
she was liberated, resolute to return to hearth and home
to behave as a good farmer's wife and entertain her drone.

Well now...
...as always your explanations and broad view tickle the mind.  Well done Martin.  Best Holiday.
