Of Foxes

The fox in me has doubled back
To walk upon my coming track
But dust has formed a layer thick
And I of course am not as quick

It takes me to a place I’ve been
Back into a former green
And as I search about the field
There seems to me a musty yield

Things have changed, a look of gray
And yesterday is not today
The trees in moss has grown in hang
The taste of air has lost its tang

Sadness seems to hang in lace
The rose is gone and left a space
And I am in a clime of age
Like yellow turns in time a page

I do not like its Coventry
Nor do I like the pageantry

I learned so much from this writing...it is not what is said, but the way it is said that provokes one to think.  You indeed made me think and rethink.

Thanks...

You may not like that you are not as "quick" but as a young person I will tell you.
iGNORANCE AND BEING NIEVE IS NOT COOL. I am quite wize for my age, but I am so nieve still. I get so angry at things I do.
oh well.

Saymour,
loved the metaphor of the fox!
Once you have smelled a rose, you never
forget the smell and are always capable
of smelling again! Keep the rose alive!
