Arriving home into this empty place I anxiously a-wait, Your presence. I can’t wait to tell you about all the fun And the good of the day. Yelling down the steps, my voice runs. Finally there’s hope. I spit a sentence or two out… You cope. Through my words you muddle What’s important to you is about to be shared, Cuz’ about me you really don’t care. A million questions about him, None about me I sigh, And its funny- you really don’t understand why I’m blind to you. But he’s a gem. Not even perfect and round… I sit here as my head pounds, What the hell is wrong with you. --i usually dont like what i write, but i like this... nor do i usually share. I dont really know if you guys understand where im coming from w/ this poem. |
