Physical Reality

Such a small coffin holds my heart.
When it was full of love, of life,
I never realized it was such a tiny thing.
I thought it large, enormous,
so big stars shown from it's depths,
worlds circled suns,
comets flew from universe to universe;
but such a small coffin holds it now,
and I see what it truly is -
not swelled by love and soul,
by wonder and warmth  and will
to share and give,
and live -
such a small coffin holds it . . .
now that you've gone.
