Came Spring
and grey hairs did not revel naked
in sunlight as they had in years
when delight was found in flesh
tempting flesh against cool earth
to sate the season of birth
fertile finds of lust or crave
to simply touch someone

Now
the sun touches spots
aged on exposed skin
and I touch memories of white water
of cool nights with fires that swept sparks into the air
chasing brilliant stars

tell me
how many more will I see
to live regret for all I failed
to find
in the iris of your eyes?

I find even the daffodils are bowed
in weep of dew consideration
and know only the silence of green

Should this be my last
  I beg only my dear
the words I have shared
also be scattered
Come some Spring

and I touch memories of white water

~*~

I think the tender
of this beauty
will cause many a
white water tear
to fall...

it is gentle, and
so very lovely...

You did it...you made the tears overflow.
Thank you for this keeper Captain.

knowing this feeling well....may the spring breeze blow softer upon your heart...

The sound of silence calls,
I hear your voice and suddenly
I'm falling, lost in a dream
The echo of our souls meet

In it's sadness Ron, this is really very beautiful.

I love reading you.

Hi Ron,

You do have the magic touch, yes you do.

I covet these lines:

and I touch memories of white water
of cool nights with fires that swept sparks into the air
chasing brilliant stars

Hope all is well in your neck 'o the woods.
