in the precarious balance
of will on the edge
the question looms

           build or destroy?

or shall I resign myself
to walk, a shadow
stretched thin
beneath a dying sun?

in the silence that lays between
my waning faith,
and your indifference

blue skies fall to black
as angels
dangle in the powerlines

*shrugs, my writing is a little off, struggling lately and i needs my sleep. g'nite

~

dear lord what a haunting image....you make it seem so real....good to see you have returned home...

~~**~~
The sound of silence calls,
I hear your voice and suddenly
I'm falling, lost in a dream
The echo of our souls meet

Those lines were closer to the bone than I can explain.  They brought back a nervous tic.

Think I'll go out for a walk, maybe it will rain.

My fav lines were what Icy picked...but these ones are cool in that they remind me of something/someone.

You did more than good...

Caro Raffaele, it's just the moment between wake and sleep when you are more receptive to "hear the whispers from the muse".
This is very good!

I feel like I know this one. Like i've read it before? I'm probably just imagining it. Perhaps I'm just familiar with your writings. Sick n tired of you more like. ha.

or shall I resign myself
to walk, a shadow
stretched thin
beneath a dying sun?

This makes me imagine the world completely abandoned/ruined, waiting to die. a bit lord of the rings esque. love it.

It's all the same energy, ain't it?

Thanks everybody, the 'angels' line was something I had lying around but never liked what i'd written around it

Gem you called it, it's in a poem I posted awhile ago, on a winter's day

and K, as soon as i wrote those lines I though of you, knew you'd understand
