I Let You Decide

too soon
another’s bones will be
found upon the pile
of the forgotten sun bleached
even now I feel you
as you grow tired and weary
exhaustedly searching
the skin
you
will never recognize

I could have said
a thousand things
before you left
and all would have
been in vain
met with the thick
sound of silence
and nothing
would have
changed your mind
I let you decide
a choice yours
alone to make
stepping where unlocked
doors are two sided
and as my heart hurt
I extended you kindness
a place where all
quietly call for mercy
mercy is not begging
it is release
in a pardon
as if I had needed
forgiveness from
a gift so freely given
we all have choices
I let you decide
and I unselected
courageously go on

"It's ok, you will be alright, it will just take some time." unknown

smile?

I actually had one guy come back, complaining that I'd made it too easy for him to go. I should have "pushed" him, he complained. Y'believe that?

I'll bet you do.

shaking my head here.

and yep, you just keep singing those familiar tunes, lady.

I recognise what you're talking about too well to my likings, but heh

especially liked this part:
"I could have said
a thousand things
before you left
and all would have
been in vain
met with the thick
sound of silence
and nothing
would have
changed your mind"
--> Did you pick this just out of my life? heh..

If I had to quote something then I would have to quote the entire thing! This is beyond any word I can relate back to you with! Awesome!
