Yes - another Hawk

but please dont tell anyone

Dave
***********************************
On a cold dark night I traced your eyes in the lamplight watching darkness

hiding the glow of your painted face

Walls watching your sense of belonging

Confidence your only trait

Swirling

You danced around a darkness

Value dripped as a jewel

Lighting a bauble

Kicked into a fire
Sparkling blazing

into a darkening night

small words muttered

hasty retreats

yet you sat there as if the world could end and you dance on the ethos

for no-one could

hold you

yet you dance holding blackness, wearing it as a tribute to dance

Your words to me

Find me

I like the way you write, the short lines make the thoughts all the more powerful
