Quicksand Now fear my mind and take a ride What soft and subtle suicide? Listening to every vioce Is not a reason, but a choice And if my anger would erupt I might give in but won't give up Alone inside the dead of night The stage is set for one more fight These memories that bring forth pain Are reason for the crimson stain And knowing what I have to lose I'll fly away from every bruise Soon enough the pain will cease Bringing waves of tender peace Tears of blood stream down my face And in my heart and every place Where will they land? Where will they fall? And will it matter much at all? Leaving now your world of greed I'll only take what you don't need So don't be frightened, don't be scared The broken light will be repaired But I'll still whisper on my knees: What good is light if no one sees? ***?*** Awakened by my midnight scream I realized it was just a dream And as I tried to catch my breath I wondered why I'd thought of death What was the reason and the source? What led my dream to take this coarse? It was you Close my eyes and close my heart It was you By Andrew /J*M |

This particular verse whispers loud to me. Your use of meter is quite skilled, Darker. This just flowed down the page. Welcome to the forum.  |
