One thing-- life’s secret, something to cling to, something secure... Pluses, pluses, gains in the foundation of reality, of truth. Pluses, pluses fill my pockets like so much lint, so much dust... building up like oxidation on some ornate figure; like lichen upon a sedentary stone. Let not the fear, of the loss of such, be my boss; rather, that which is unseen- the promise, now only a dream, a hope, let that be my reason, my season, my spice-- the variety that keeps me alive that helps me survive and reflect the joy and truth of He who is my source of Light. ©April 4, 2004 sermon==”Pressing On,” March 28, 2004 Dr.Paul Pryor Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |
