But this The talk we need to have Impetuous and lingering far into a million shivered lights The longing of the flesh speaks volumes of the soul Wiped clean of all spectators sport, left wholesome and bare We speak From body to soul, along the tears of an endless forgiving Raising ridges on the spine that sleek eternal in a wave To feel the emotions of another, sighs that take color and tone Peaking flowers to bloom beneath the warmth of lingered breath Discovered The way that we relate within the feelings left warm and wandering Indelible prints upon the skin and taken in by heart Not denied of flitter, without stop or bitter in relent Just the softest explication underneath the fingertips to seek But this, the conversations that two hearts by hand shall speak Copyright Kkh 4/2/04 |
