The Sea Will Provide Sails are filled with a warm southern breeze tantalizing aroma builds, comforting me… Days past, forgotten, echoed in your raven hair Whispering of gallant days, now not so vivid, or clear… Dreams quietly hold my thought in a stare, thoughts Of dreamy sunsets, or the moon lighted evenings we might have shared… Captivated by your words, your charming fresh scent, your philosophical bond How could I dare capture those thoughts, in-slaving your memories as my own? The sea is my home; on her days I am bewitched, as the spine of this ship I will delight in her as does the wind; and I can only pray, she too, in me… This day is late, but the sharing of memories so peaceful, so gentle and kind. Although the furry of storms are weary on my flesh, they do strengthen my soul in depth … As I have seen what has past with my eyes, my heart and mind, So I would be so incline to visit the future as it too passes by… As the sea watches in care that my sails are filled with that warm breeze She holds tight to your memories while distant rocky cliffs hold us at bay Turning and sailing towards the horizon yet never gaining on its edge at play She sings her song to me, a melodic rolling melody: The sea will provide, the sea will provide… JL |

Yes, the sea really does provide us with a bounty, and I sure hope we learn to care for it's health better than in the recent past, so that generations from now, people will still find such things to write about and post on these blue pages. hope you enjoy both days and nights here |
