I'll not have The Morn an Unwelcomed Guest The enchanting song of the morning dove, Doth awaken me to the sun's dawning, This splendorous display my heart doth love, Yea over the beauty I am fawning. 'Tis only the indifferent that care naught, They are unwilling to open their hearts, In the maelstrom of anguish they are caught, Woe they plod through this life by fits and starts. Embroiled by pain they remain wedded, To a design that ne'er was lyrical, Unknowingly they have been beheaded, That's, what thee gleans when thou are cynical. As long as love doth dwell within mine breast, I'll not have the morn an unwelcomed guest. Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history! |
