The Three Musketeers of Friendship

The year 2001
Introduced to the Internet.
The internet filled with peoples of the universe-
News, music from every nation, dating services
Art from the museums of the world, shop at home
Schooling from A to Z
All with a flick of a button.
Surfing the internet, never thinking of finding
Friendship.
Friendship is for meeting mankind face to face.
The year 2001
Started to write words of poetry-
Wanting to share my words
Wondering what will people think
Surfing the internet
Finding different poetry sites
Finding Poetry Today Online.
Peoples from all over the world-
Joining in laughter, sorrow, anger, and with telling
words of undying love.
Three women coming together............Strangers.
Our common interest, we thought at the time, was our love of
writing.
Each living in different parts of the country-
Slowly coming together in friendship.
Being adopted by complete strangers
Taken in as an unbreakable bond of family.
Now our friendship burnt into the winds of eternity.
We carry the bond of unbroken friendship
We are-
The Three Musketeers of Friendship.

Love Bon-Bon

Some of us are Musketeers
Where chivalry abounds.
Some of us have Nuts
While others here have gorgeous Mounds.

Some can make us Snicker
Other give us Almond Joy.
This place is filled with morsels sweet
For all here to enjoy!

When I wrote this one. I was new to the internet and was surprised at what I found. Now I have another poem site that is filled with smiling faces and laughter, maybe I should add to this write about the pages of blue.
Thanks all for reading.

This reads like an adventure story.  Bold and yet so sweet like chocolate too.
Way to go Bonnie J.

This poem is special ~ and so are you! I love your friendly, adventurous spirit. You are as sweet as candy! ~ and I am pleased that you found your way to our poetic family as well!

P.S. Balladeer's reply had me rolling on the floor and flattened my mounds of Almond Joys! lol

Don't know what I'd do without the web!
