Forbidden Love.

He stood under the light as snow enterd the beam and fell quickly to the ground.

Silence pervaded the empty street, he peered out from a wide brimmed hat, waiting without a sound.

From out of the gloom a distant figure came, slowly making it's way towrads him.

His heart quickend, he felt the coldness on his hands from within his deep jacket pockets.
Slowly the features of the person appeared, from light that was blurred and dim.

Footsteps drawing closer and scrunching on the newly settled snow, falling from the night.
Suddenly he saw her face, a face of delicate beauty.
Reflections of snowflakes glistening past her eyes.
Yes her eyes, so dark but dear to him as his own beating heart.

Clandestine meetings, in lonely places.
Now here she was once again, meeting him, drawn to him like moth to flame.
He hated this, from her he never wanted to part.

Standing together under the streetlight, in pause mode, just looking, examining each other's faces.
Smiles playing on their lips, waves warm with love, washed over them in sheer bliss.

Leaning closer, still in silence, he touched then held her ice cold hand.
Moving ever closer, until lips touched lips, warm, deeply passionate did they kiss.
