Slipped

I’ve slipped into the dark abyss
Into the sea of reminisce
Where lights fly in winks of sigh
To form a teardrop on the eye

It hides within the daily trail
Weather you walk or try to sail
A quicksand on the way of day
It grabs you in its mental play

It sails you to the catacombs
Where lay the mold and dusty bones
And sweeps you into past events
Where you are caught without a vent

For sorrow ties a string of thought
Attached to every dish you caught
That plays you like a puppeteer
Upon the stage of inner fear

For that’s the way of when and men
Until you’re washed to shore again

So that's how it is for men, huh?  Sy, I'm drilling a vent hole right here for you.

             O      <<<<------- vent hole

Now, breath . . . the oxygen should be arriving any second! lol -- don't be blue too long (even though I like your moody poem very much).
