This one I wrote to one of my old girlfriends... LOOK IN MY EYES When we sit close together It’s the look in your eyes How you make me feel You send me up high It’s the peaceful serenity It just feels so right With your arms around me When I’m holding you tight I speak to you softly Touch my hands to your lips Brush the hair from your face Move in close for a kiss I can’t find the words Just look in my eyes I tell you I love you You know I can't lie When we lay down at night Your dreams are so deep You snuggle on top of me And you smile in your sleep This is how I know You’re the one for me You’re the only thing left That makes me happy Chorus: I need you in my life no matter how hard it gets You help me get through it when my life takes a hit Come spend your life with me and we’ll run away Happily ever after for the rest of our days |
