Salt and wet trickle
Down crevices, over obstacles
Waves bring the droplets to the shore
And it continues on
Bearing its offering of sadness
Bringing with it the grit of mascara,

Dripping
Onto my page

Fabulous and geez, can I relate to this!!

Anytime you want to have a 'pitty-party', email me and I'll gladly join you!!

Hugs, Marti

I take no credit for my poems. Although I write them, I feel
more like I transcribe them. It's just a matter of listening.

You really reeled me in with this.  I could see the blotching mascara.  I hope tomorrows are better, Copperbell.  Your poem was short, but every word was so well chosen to
paint mood.
